The 49th Estate: The creator's cradle
Jennifer Canfield |
May 03, 2010
Brian Adams' and Ashley Skabar's South Addition home is a place for creativity to flourish. They work mostly from home. With all of the fun things to distract, you might think getting work done is hard for them; Luckily, their work is fun. Adams is a photographer, but also a budding guitarist and drummer. Skabar, a freelance writer, is also a photographer, poet, chef and author of a blog focused on dairy-free living for About.com. Their wallpapered and wood-paneled walls are decorated with art and photos made by them and their close friends. Adams’ brother Roland, a graphic artist, shares the space with them-- it's definitely a place for family. Each week, The 49th Estate takes a look inside a different Alaska home. Alaska Dispatch does not endorse the views or opinions expressed by the subjects of these videos.
