The 49th Estate: Hitting the road with Singin' Sam

"Singin' Sam" Little has been trucking in Alaska for 36 years. He says he sleeps better in his truck, which he shares with a dog named Rowdy and likens to a "small cabin," than he does anywhere else. This year Little's making a run for the governor's mansion. A Republican, his platform is built around listening to the "working man" -- and he even writes his own campaign jingles. Each week, The 49th Estate takes a look inside a different Alaska home. Alaska Dispatch does not endorse the views or opinions expressed by the subjects of these videos.
