According to a lengthy Q&A between the Anchorage Daily News and Alaska Attorney General Dan Sullivan, the Alaska Rural Action Subcabinet created by former Gov. Palin last October will hold information gathering sessions this week, the first on Monday in Unalakleet, the second on Wednesday in Kotzebue. Though the meetings will provide much needed information, the AG's office urges people to contact him directly with concerns. The AG says the subcabinet's priorities are avoiding a fuel crisis this winter and limiting rural flight, among others, and that he wants the subcabinet's report for the Governor ready by December. Read the complete Q&A here. It's evident from the interview that the the AG has a lot to learn, so don't hold back, rural Alaska; teach him what he needs to learn. |
