APOC was about to require more 'Clean Team' disclosures

According to the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner, the group behind Ballot Measure 1 dropped its campaign after Alaska Public Offices Commission officials announced that it would soon be held to stricter standards of financial reporting. To refresh the memory, Measure 1, which is still on the ballot, would prohibit public money from being used for lobbying efforts and would prohibit government contract holders from contributing to campaigns. When APOC told Clean Team Alaska that the state would soon require Americans for Limited Government, Clean Team's primary source of funding, to disclose its major donors. When the Washington D.C.-based group declined, the Alaska group's effort had to stop.
