Chicago strip joint holds Sarah lookalike contest
Alaska Dispatch |
Apr 27, 2010
According to NBC Chicago, the Admiral Theatre Gentlemen's Club (to be sure, an adult establishment) will be hosting a Sarah Palin lookalike contest on May 12, the same day that the authentic former Alaska governor will be speaking at a Republican fundraiser in Rosemont, Ill., a Chicago suburb. The contest mottoes? "Less Taxation, more Stimulation" and "Less Taxation, More Flirtation." A panel of celebrity judges will evaluate contestants in two rounds of competition, the first a question-and-answer session, the second a "performance." The event's organizer told NBC that stripping isn't required of participants, but that winning a share of the $5,000 in cash prizes will likely depend on it. The contest's online advertisement says that a portion of proceeds "will go to support the tea party movement." Read more from NBC, here. |
