Confirmed: Car and house in Arizona belong to Palins

The Wall Street Journal, through anonymous sources, was able to confirm that Sarah Palin bought the much speculated Arizona property. The possible purchase was first reported by the Arizona Republic. Alaska Dispatch has also confirmed that the car filmed by news organizations on the property belongs to Sarah and Todd Palin. It’s been widely speculated that Sarah Palin’s Arizona move indicates that she’s going to run for an open Senate seat there, or use the state as home to base a presidential run. Talk of her running for the Arizona Senate seat prompted a national pollster, Public Policy Polling, to include her in a recent survey of likely voters. But yesterday, RealClearPolitics wrote about an upcoming flattering documentary of Palin that will debut in Iowa in June. And now, prognosticators are betting on her running for president. Arizona is, as some local pundits have noted, the perfect place to set up presidential-shop. It’s centrally located and she’s got support in Arizona, namely Sen. John McCain and Arizona Republican Gov. Jan Brewer. Her daughter Bristol bought a house late last year about an hour away from the one Palin might be living in. And Palin seems to like the state. After the 2008 election, the Palins lingered for several days at the Biltmore resort in central Phoenix. Since then, she's been to the state a number of times, especially to help tea party-type candidates in congressional races. According to the Arizona Republic, the home was purchased on behalf of the Palins through a company called Safari Investments, which paid $1.695 million cash for the house. It’s walled-and-gated, sits on 4.4 acres and has a home theater, a billiard room, a walk-in wine room, a gazebo, a pool, and a six-car garage.

Will she get a PFD check or does she really need it?

Hey Hardycase: Crepuscular - is that something like a festering boil? Just askin'.

What comes to your mind when you think of Sarah Palin? I thought some of those were funny, but I'd really be interested in the 2011 election if she were to be in it.

Hardycase, I think you're actually Palinbot R.A.M. I can feel the love you ooze.

This is thrilling & fascinating news. We can imagine Todd & Sarah in their new Arizona estate, hiking in the beautiful desert, jogging, hunting, relaxing by their pool as Todd reads to Sarah from Wordsworth or Yeats during precious, lingering crepuscular interludes...We want to send Sarah a love-offering to help her furnish her new home. She is ours, and we are hers.

Hardycase you are a joke, apparently you have not been in Phoenix in the summer. In the 110 degree heat about the only thing you can do is stay inside with the air conditioner. Alaskans can not take the heat. It is no fun. I don't think even Sarah could jog outside. All the smart Alaskans head for home to escape it. Who wants to be that miserable! I laughed and laughed when I noticed in the video that they had bought a black BMW suv. Of course black is their standard color with windows tinted as dark as legal or even darker. I would have thought by now after all their experience in AZ that they would know the color black attracts the heat. That is why most cars in AZ are white. You betcha! I wonder what the next installment will be to their crazy AZ adventure.

If you think that John McCain supports Sarah Palin I strongly advise you to read "The Lies of Sarah Palin" by Geoffry Dunn. You will learn that John McCain was stabbed in the back repeatedly by Ms. Palin during their campaign. He and his wife are NOT Palin supporters! |
