On Monday Elizabeth Hensley, Karina Moeller, Allison Warden and Maligiaq Padilla kicked off the Generation I tour with a concert in Kotzebue. The group will be touring in the area through Jan. 8, performing and conducting workshops.

"Creating art feeds the spirit in many important ways that will enable people to improve their self-confidence as they begin, or continue, to express themselves," Hensley said in a recent story about the project in the Arctic Sounder.
