Iditarod is Palin's 'next favorite'

Alaska's former governor is the star of the Iditarod's official Web site.

"Now that the Iron Dog's over, it's time for my next favorite Alaskan event, the Iditarod. The Iditarod is the event that brings all Alaskans together..." Sarah Palin tells viewers. Standing in front of a green snowmachine, Palin flashes a double thumbs up and tells race fans about insider.iditarod.com, a site run by the Iditarod that charges users $19.95 to $33.95 for race video and GPS data on the racers.

Palin is also appearing in television ads promoting Iditarod Insider.
