Joe McGinness to write Palin book?

According to The New York Observer, author Joe McGinness has switched agents, and is looking to sell a book about Sarah Palin, who would have been a character in another book he was trying to sell about Alaska and the oil industry. That book would have been a sequel to his highly regarded 1980 book on the same topic, Going to Extremes. Fate of fates, during negotiations for the sale of that book, John McCain picked Sarah Palin as his VP nominee, and all hell broke loose (as it did for many others during that time as well). McGinness is now in the process of getting a publisher for a new book in which Palin plays a larger role. Read more here.
