In a new YouTube video, supporters of Scott McAdams compare a parade of Joe Miller supporters -- including some carrying rifles and pistols -- to a scene out of "Star Wars." The video, posted by YouTube user AKrebelscum (and now reposted on various blogs, including Alaska Commons) includes a disclaimer:  "Not paid for by any candidate or candidate's committee. If corporations can spend unlimited amounts of money on elections then I can do this for free."

Indeed, if AKreblescum can do it for free, then maybe the Miller folks will use it for their own ends for free. After all, the campaign organized the march through Eagle River's Bear Paw Festival in July in hopes of media attention, which it got.

Phil Munger also goes with the "Star Wars" theme in a recent post, which includes McAdams dressed like Obi-Wan Kenobi. Perhaps the Miller campaign will counter with its own theme -- "The Empire Strikes Back."
