According to The Associated Press (via the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner), a Palmer Superior Court judge has ruled that Bristol Palin is entitled to child support payments from her baby's father, Levi Johnston, including retroactive payments extending back to the birth of Tripp. Just how much she's due retroactively, or what the future payments will be set at, has yet to be determined. The judge granted issuing subpoenas in order to determine how much Johnston has made from recent media appearances so that payments can be set, but she also urged the parties to come to some agreement outside of court. To help encourage that, she set a trial date, Sept. 23-24, and encouraged the parties to work together on a settlement before then. Read more here.
