Man dies in Willow plane crash

The pilot of a Piper PA-18 died after his plane clipped some trees near Susitna Landing Road in Willow on Friday, according to a press release from the Alaska State Troopers. The troopers that responded to the crash found the man dead inside the plane. He was the only passenger, and the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the cause of the crash. |
