Media barred from speech, again

According to the Associated Press (via the Kansas City Star), Sarah Palin's speech next month to the College of the Ozarks in southwestern Missouri won't be covered by a declared press corps. A spokesperson for the college says that the contract for Palin's appearance requires that members of the media who didn't obtain a ticket be excluded from the event. Read a little more from AP here. According to the Springfield News-Leader (Mo.), tickets for the event have already been distributed on a first-come-first-served basis, and the college's spokesperson said the exclusion of media members was a "mutual" agreement.
