According to The Washington Post, a telephone poll of 1,004 Americans conducted jointly by the Post and ABC News indicates that two-thirds of Americans are dissatisfied with the job the federal government is doing and that even though most say they know little about the tea party, that doesn't seem to damage its appeal, with about 45 percent of Americans agreeing "at least somewhat" with the positions they assume tea partiers have on "the issues." Although ex-Gov. Palin seems to be a favorite among tea party movementarians, the Post reports, "Her potential as a presidential hopeful takes a severe hit in the survey." Read much more here, and read to the raw numbers, here. The poll has a margin of sampling error of +/- 3 percent. |
