New poll: Palin endorsement 'toxic'
Alaska Dispatch |
Jun 24, 2010
According to one interpretation (via The Washington Post) of the latest NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll, however much Sarah Palin's endorsement helps or doesn't help candidates in primary elections, it may be "toxic" during a general election. The poll indicates that a Palin endorsement has high negative appeal among the broad electorate, with 52 percent of respondents saying it would make them "uncomfortable." Other factors seen near-equally negative in the poll were a candidate's support for former President Bush's economic policies, and support for the elimination of various federal agencies including Social Security or the Department of Education. Read more interpretation from The Post and find a link to the complete poll numbers, here. |
