According to Politico, National Republican Senatorial Committee senior adviser and veteran GOP strategist Terry Nelson flew to Alaska Wednesday night to begin supporting Joe Miller's campaign for U.S. Senate. In addition to Nelson's help, the NRSC has promised to spend the maximum amount of coordinated funds allowed on behalf of Miller's campaign, which would be about $170,000 in addition to the $42,600 it already spent for Miller's bid. Read more, here. Readers may recall that the NRSC is the same organization that Miller expressed concern was "meddling" in the Republican primary election as ballots were counted after election day in a tight race against Sen. Lisa Murkowski. |
