Alaska Dispatch |
Mar 12, 2010
With the following news, everyone should have a much clearer idea of what former Gov. Palin meant when she said she resigned in order to "effect positive change" or when she says she'll be supporting "commonsense conservative candidates" running for office. According to the Minneapolis-St. Paul Star-Tribune, former Gov. Sarah Palin will be appearing at a fundraising event on April 7 to benefit the re-election of U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.). Palin will co-host the event with Gov. Tim Pawlenty, former U.S. Sen. Norm Coleman, and U.S Reps. John Kline and Erik Paulsen, all Minnesota Republicans. Read more here. Also, Politico reports that that Palin will be available for a private, pre-event photo-op and conference with special donors. There was no word on how much that access will cost, but tickets to the main fundraising dinner itself cost $500 per plate. Read more here. In case you've forgotten who Michelle Bachmann is, according to The Week.com, here are her top ten moments. |
