Parnell 'disgusted' by Palin's new neighbor

In an interview about the Gulf of Mexico oil spill Tuesday, Fox Business' Neil Cavuto asked Gov. Sean Parnell, as an aside, what he thought of author Joe McGinniss moving in next door to the Palin family while McGinniss works on a book about the former governor. Parnell, unsurprisingly, doesn't find McGinniss terribly cute. "I was disgusted when I heard it," Parnell told Cavuto. "I just thought ‘it's a free country, certainly, but there are bounds of decency' -- but I'd like to see a whole lot more space between the former governor and somebody who's apparently got something else up his sleeve and in mind." Parnell said if he were in Palin's shoes, "I'd take every step I could to maintain my privacy and that of my family and protect them, no question." When asked to elaborate -- Cavuto wanted to know whether he'd build a moat -- Parnell declined further comment on the matter. Watch the complete video at Fox Business. |
