If you made a bet last year that former Alaska Gov. Palin's second book would contain more original content than the first one did, get ready to pay up ... According to The Associated Press (via USA Today), HarperCollins announced Tuesday that Palin's second book, "America by Heart: Reflections on Family, Faith and Flag," will be released in hardcover and electronic form on Nov. 23. From the publisher's written release, the book will contain "selections from classic and contemporary readings that have moved [Palin]," ranging from "the nation's founding documents to great speeches, sermons, letters, literature and poetry, biography, and even some of her favorite songs and movies." But, wait, there's more! This book won't just be a bunch of excerpts harvested from the public domain. The release says, "The book will also include portraits of some of the extraordinary men and women she admires ...." So far, former Gov. Palin's "collaborator" has not been named, but her publisher says she will be using one. Read more here. |
