NASA scientists aboard the Coast Guard icebreaker Healy are on a mission to document the impacts of climate change on arctic ecosystems. The program called ICESCAPE will bring together scientists from many different fields to create a wide study of changes in NASA's first oceanographic study ever. The mission began in Dutch Harbor and will sail up past Point Barrow. Learn more at the mission's blog. |
