Is Sarah Palin again thinking about running for president?
Alaska Dispatch |
Feb 17, 2012
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is not content to sit on the political sidelines. In October, Palin said she was no longer planning to run for president in 2012. Her name dropped substantially in Google News, and many political pundits wrote her off, some saying the drama of her bus tour last summer was nothing more than a ploy to raise money for her political action committee -- SarahPAC. Then last weekend, Palin spoke at the CPAC convention, bringing up the idea of a brokered GOP convention for deciding who will run against Obama. Now, on top of that, the Fox News analyst says she may still consider running for president. At least that’s how CBS News has interpreted her remarks in a story with the headline, “Sarah Palin says she is "game" for another run for office”: Asked in an interview if she would be interested in jumping in the race if there is no clear winner by the time Republicans gather this summer for their nominating convention, Palin said she would 'do whatever I could to help.' And here's her full response: If it had to be kind of closed up today, the whole nominating process, then we would be looking at a brokered convention. I mean nobody is quite there yet, so I think that months from now, if that is the case, then you know, all bets are off as to who it will be, willing to offer up themselves up in their name in service to their country. I would do whatever I could to help. Meantime, back in her home state, Palin has been silent as state lawmakers and her former lieutenant governor consider tweaking the oil tax hike she speareheaded against the industry in 2007. This is rather unusual. Other former Alaska governors have weighed in on the debate -- one which will decide whether industry or the state collect billions of dollars in profits or taxes. Yet, it seems Palin has had no problem staying on the sidelines as far as politics go in the great wilderness of Alaska.

Sarah knew she had no chance to win the nomination if she had to debate the other candidates, so she delayed answering the question if she would run or not for as long as possible so she could continue to get as many donations as possible for SarahPAC. She is for a long draw out fight between the current candidates in hopes it could cause a brokered nomination which could include her. Because of her narcissistic personality she actually believes she is qualified to be president, and as she has stated before believes she could beat Obama. Putting it simply and bluntly, Palin is sitting on the edge of reality in her fantasy world, that is supported by her supporters that seem to be as sick as she is after reading many of their postings at C4P. As in any business decision, the day will come when FOX will no longer believe Palin is beneficial for their business and will release her. When that day comes, Palin will lose her soap box and her fantasy of how important she is to others.

I have been waiting for her to try something but I don't think it will be until she doesn't have to worry about doing any debates where she wouldn't have to go against any of the other candidates one on one. As long as she can get up there and spout her BS and divisive rhetoric and not be able to be challenged by those who are much more intelligent and better versed, she can do it. But she will never be able to do any real debating where she has to answer questions she doesn't get in advance. She may even have some of her sycophants who would try to put her name up if they did have a brokered convention but I truly can't believe she could possibly get enough delegates to support her. Unless she thinks it could happen because of the chaos that would surely result in a brokered convention. There is a reason why they haven't done it that way since 1948! Do you think enough Republicans could be that stupid? I don't know- they are Republicans!

Wow, this is a fantastic bunch of undulating, Hollywood bound, bad spellers,

@ dregstudios Don't forget Sarah's undulating, she is undulating at the thought of being the ultimate Washington insider. Only the number one or two spots in DC will do. In the meantime, we must suffer the consequences of her political popularity. Roaming the countryside, a John McCain Frankenstein monster bent on destroying her creator. The Old Guard Republicans are the villagers. We can only hope they will catch up to her and put an end to this surrealistic episode of modern history in which a completely incompetent and attractive individual has power beyond any reason.

Sarah, has gone Hollywood. That's why she left Alaska. The Tea Party candidates just don't cut the mustard. I mean really Sarah, Newt Gingrich? If you value family values, truly, then you certainly wouldn't support this cad. Sarah, will take what she can get at the convention, and the take will be that much more rewarding if the convention is brokered. A brokered convention is only wishful thinking and will dissolve in a short time as some candidates withdraw and throw their support to others.

Alaska's gorgeous, gracious, gifted Gov. Sarah Palin, the undisputed Queen of American Conservatism & vivacious, veracious voice of the common people, is easily the most competent, well-qualified, courageous, & charismatic potential Presidential candidate from either political party.

Alaska's greedy grifter GoverNOT Sarah Palin, the undisputed Queen of Quitters & vicious voice of the confused and credulous cretins, is easily the most incompetent, cowardly, & charmless person with absolutely NO potential as a Presidential candidate from either party.

Can anyone remember the last time cowardly $arah showed her face anywhere in Alaska? Or commented on any (sub)Parnell policies or state goings on before or since his being elected governor? SP2 wouldn't let $arah anywhere near his campaign when he was running. Paylin only makes staged appearances in the L48, far from Alaskans who know her for the delusional fraud the Quitter really is.

Answer: No. She is just trying to keep herself relevant. As for her silence on Parnell and ACES, she defended ACES in a Facebook post in Mar. 2011.

Palin is the ultimate political strip-tease, thrusting and rubbing her self all over a White House column. The dollars reign down and she gives them another sneak peek at what’s under that dress. See just how nasty America’s Top MILF will get for the cash at http://dregstudiosart.blogspot.com/2011/06/ecstasy-of-sarah-palin_15.html
