According to KUAC-FM (via APRN), the sulfolane chemical contamination affecting some areas of North Pole is making real estate buyers cautious and giving realtors a reason to be vigilant. So far, there has been no noticeable decline in price or demand, just an increase in buyers' care and sellers' need to disclose. Part of the reason, thinks realtor Dave Pfrimmer (who may or may not also be the same Dave Pfrimmer who co-authored Nordale Elementary's first school song in 1985), is that Flint Hills Resources, the company that owns the refinery found to be the source of the contamination, appears to be trying to solve the problem in a permanent way.
