Woolly mammoth caught on video in Siberia?
Alaska Dispatch |

A video has emerged in recent days of what is being billed as a woolly mammoth crossing a river in Siberia. According to London's The Sun, the footage of the woolly mammoth was captured by a government engineer last summer in Siberia's Chukotka Autonomous Okrug region while he was surveying a road project. The Sun says: ...viewers are divided on the nature of the animal seen in the video. Some have dismissed it as a hoax while others reckon it is an elephant lost in the Siberian wilderness. The third theory is the sighting shows a bear eating a huge fish. We're not sure what to make of it. What do you think?

The Sun is not exactly a reliable news source. The only reason to pick up a Sun is to check out the naked woman on page 3.

The Dispatch should be ashamed for wasting the bandwidth for this story. Idiots. Q: If you were an elephant or a had a trunk (like and elephant) would you drag it along in the water? A: Uh, no. Everything I've ever seen before this indicates elephants lift their trunks above the water. Unless of course, they're having a sip. This is clearly a bear with a salmon or other large fish. Effing idiots! And I'm an idiot for wasting this space commenting on it. Sheesh!! |
