Dear loyal Bush Pilot readers,
Well, it's been a wild ride these past five months, checking out one another's aviation photos, videos and essays. We've had some amazing contributors, sending in everything from technical essays on frozen lake landings to first-person videos of high-pass flying in Southwestern Alaska.
This is no goodbye, just a quick see you later: my sister Rachel works in Senegal, and I'm flying east to visit her. The Internet access there ranges from poor to nonexistent, so I won't be able to keep Bush Pilot fresh, but I am hoping to get some shots of African bush planes to show you when I get back!
I return to Anchorage Feb. 7, so check back the next day for a slideshow of dusty Senegalese planes (or barring that, a return to the Alaska aviation posts we've all been enjoying since September.)
Talk to you then, and thanks for being a part of Bush Pilot. Fly safe out there.
Best, Joshua Saul
