'Turkey Trot' race too crowded

According to the TriCity Herald (Wash.), Sarah Palin's entry in Kennewick's Thanksgiving Day "Turkey Trot" 5k charity race for the Red Cross attracted quite a crowd. Before the race, and during, Palin greeted onlooking supporters, signed some autographs, took photos, and shook hands. Then the former governor opted not to finish the race. Reportedly, Palin stopped early because more crowds awaited her at the finish line, and she didn't want to delay her family's Thanksgiving dinner. Read much more here.
