The Builders and the Butchers play Anchorage

The Builders and the Butchers return to Anchorage to play at the Taproot Public House for two nights only, Friday and Saturday, Feb. 8 & 9.
This popular indie folk rock band, based in Portland, Ore., has strong ties to Alaska.
The group's discography includes three full length albums, one 12-inch split (with Portland band Loch Lomond) an EP and various singles. The Builders and the Butchers are set to play:
- Friday Feb. 8 with local singer-song writer Hawkins Wright and Anchorage band Super Saturated Sugar Strings
- Saturday Feb. 9 with city favorite SJ & Drums and "post punk Alaskana" blues musician Orion Donicht
