At the Alaska Federation of Natives' Elders and Youth Conference earlier this week in Anchorage, there were engaging speakers and inspiring breakout sessions. But Tuesday night held something that was eagerly anticipated by many of the young attendees.

What they looked forward to was a dance, but not a dance like you might expect to see at AFN. There were no feathered fans or skin drums. This dance was all about glow sticks and Gangnam style.

With music and a light show provided by Five Star Entertainment, glow sticks provided by Village Public Safety Officers, and a surprise show by Inupiat rapper AKU-MATU, the dance was a hit.
