A trio of Good Samaritans on Black Sturgeon Lake in Ontario, Canada recently came to the rescue of a deer who had lost its footing and become stranded in the middle of the lake and was attempting to wriggle its way to the far-away shore. Using what appears to be a lifevest strung on a strap, two of the rescuers manage to slide the saddle underneath the deer, dragging it to the shoreline. The deer, clearly exhausted and not even able to stand after being rescued, goes along for the ride willingly.

The uploader said the deer took a day to rest on the shoreline before recovering its strength and walking away. Check out the original video here.
